Joe Coins
What are Joe Coins?
Joe Coins are a free virtual currency you earn for watching the stream on this site. They are the only thing you can spend on scratch cards here, and they are the score that ranks the leaderboards.
They are not money. They have no cash value, they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn, and they are not redeemable for anything outside this site. Think of them the same way you would think of points in a video game.
How do I earn Joe Coins?
Mainly by watching. Sign in, open the watch page, and while Joe is live you earn 120 Joe Coins an hour, credited as you go. You need the tab actually open — the counter pauses when you switch away, which keeps it fair for everyone.
- 6 hours a day is the maximum you can be credited for. Once you’ve hit it, the counter stops until the next day (UK time).
- Kick subscribers earn 1.5× once your Kick account is linked — available once Kick sign-in goes live.
- One-off bonuses: 500 for signing up and 100 for finishing your profile. Once Kick sign-in goes live, another 250 for linking your Kick account and 250 for following the channel.
- Scratch card wins pay out in Joe Coins too, so a good run keeps you going.
Can I buy Joe Coins?
No. Never. There is no shop, no top-up, no bundle, no “get 10,000 coins for a fiver”. You cannot give us money for coins and we would not take it.
This is a permanent rule, not a launch decision. The whole point of Joe Coins is that they are earned by turning up, so putting a price on them would defeat the entire exercise.
Can I cash out or withdraw my Joe Coins?
No. Joe Coins cannot be exchanged for money, prizes, crypto, casino credit, gift cards or anything else with real-world value. They cannot be transferred to another player either.
They exist to be spent on scratch cards on this site and to put your name up the leaderboard. That is the whole job.
Do my Joe Coins expire?
No. Your balance sits there until you spend it. Leaderboards reset on a weekly and monthly cycle for the rankings, but that never touches the coins in your account.
How do I get more Joe Coins faster?
- Watch while Joe is live rather than dipping in and out — the rate is per hour.
- Once Kick sign-in goes live, link your Kick account and follow the channel for the two 250-coin bonuses.
- Finish your profile for another 100.
- Claim your free daily card every day, even on days you cannot watch.
- Once Kick sign-in goes live, a linked account with a Kick subscription earns at 1.5× the standard rate.
Scratch cards
What are the scratch cards and how do they work?
Each card is a 3×3 grid of Joe-themed symbols. Scratch the panels off — properly, with your finger or mouse — and if you uncover three matching symbols you win the prize tied to that symbol. There is a quick-reveal button if you would rather not scratch.
There are five tiers: the free Daily Freebie, then Bronze (100 coins), Silver (500), Gold (2,500) and Diamond (10,000). The bigger the card, the bigger the top prize.
How do the odds work? Are they published?
Yes — every card’s full prize table and its win chance are printed on that card’s page. Nothing is hidden.
The paid cards run at roughly an 87–88% average return in Joe Coins. In plain terms: across thousands of cards, players get back around 87 to 88 coins for every 100 spent. Any individual card can win far more than it cost or nothing at all — that is the nature of it. The gap is what stops the coin supply spiralling.
Every result is decided on our server using a cryptographic random number generator before anything is drawn on your screen, and every roll is written to an audit log. The scratching animation is just theatre — the outcome is already fixed and it cannot be changed by how you scratch.
What is the free daily card?
Every signed-in player gets one free Daily Freebie card every day, whether they have watched the stream or not. It costs nothing, it can win up to 1,000 Joe Coins, and it resets at midnight UK time. It is there so you always have a reason to look in.
Is there a limit on how many cards I can play?
Yes — 50 cards a day per account, plus your free daily on top. It is a sanity limit more than anything: it keeps the economy stable and stops anyone burning a whole balance in one frantic session.
Gambling & safety
Is this gambling?
The games on this site are not gambling. There is no stake — Joe Coins cannot be bought with money, so nothing of value is ever risked. And there is no prize of value, because coins cannot be cashed out. No money in, no money out: it is a free entertainment game.
The casinos advertised on this site are a different matter entirely. Those are real-money gambling operators. They are strictly 18+, they are governed by their own terms and their own licences, and we earn a commission when someone signs up through our links. If you go anywhere near them, please read the safer gambling page first.
Why do I have to be 18?
Because the site sits alongside real-money gambling advertising, and because the subject matter is gambling entertainment. Everyone confirms their date of birth when they sign up. If we find an under-18 account, it gets closed. No exceptions, no appeals.
Why are there casino adverts at all?
They are what pays for the site — hosting, the games, the giveaways, all of it. Being straight about it: they are affiliate links, and Scratch Card Joe earns a commission if you sign up through one. It never costs you extra. You will never see a casino advert inside a scratch card game, and nothing on this site requires you to deposit anywhere.
I think I have a gambling problem. What should I do?
Please talk to someone today — it genuinely helps and it is free and confidential. GamCare run the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, 24 hours a day. GAMSTOP can block you from every UK-licensed gambling site in one go. Our safer gambling page has the full list.
Accounts & data
Do I need a Kick account to use this site?
No. You can sign up with Google or with an email and password and play straight away.
If you do have one, you can sign in with Kick directly, or link it from your profile later. Linking unlocks the 250-coin link bonus, the 250-coin follow bonus, and the 1.5× earn rate for channel subscribers. You can still watch and earn without it.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your profile page and use the delete option — it is self-service and it takes effect immediately. Your account, username, coin balance and watch history are removed. If you would rather someone did it for you, email info@scratchcardjoe.com and we will handle it. Deleting is permanent: your coins do not come back.
Is my data safe? What do you actually store?
We keep it to the minimum: your username, the sign-in identifier from your provider, your date of birth for the 18+ check, your coin ledger and your watch sessions. We do not sell data to anybody, we do not run advertising trackers on this site, and there is no marketing email. The full detail is on the privacy page, and the cookies page explains the one cookie we need.
Can I have more than one account?
No — one account per person. Multi-accounting to farm coins or stack up leaderboard positions is the quickest way to get every one of those accounts closed and the coins wiped. It is in the terms, and it is not worth it.
